Where can I find what my stuff worth?

I have a few odds and ends around the house. I want to know how to find what worth. For example, I have my mother bowl carnival glass and I have a beautiful vase with any brand, but I know it's old. I also have McDonald's glasses Star Wars original glasses and Ronald McDonald. Things like that. In general – in fact 30 years old. I am interested in having a garage sale, but do not want something to sell for $ 5 to indicate in the "Antiques Road Show" of several thousand dollars. I doubt valuable, but again, do not know. I know, but do not know where begin.

Before selling anything, make a trip to your local bookstore and find the section on collection. You see tons of values library books. Look for some tracks for "Kovel". They are leaders in collecting prices, and have books in all different categories such as glassware, kitchen collectibles, jewelry, pottery, etc.
