questions about ancient China?

Does anyone know anything about ancient China? I inherited a large body of my grandmother. I looked at the bottom of a plate and then the sheet says shooting Czechoslovakia and is called Pastelle. I took some pieces in the local antique store on the street because they want to sell. He showed me some parts and said it was a lot more. She offered to buy all for $ 75. Does this seem fair? I do not sell it because I think it could be more valuable. Is there a place online where you can see how it could be useful? I'm not expecting to be thousands of dollars, but I thought I'm worth more than $ 75.

Have you tried Google? Google the name on the plates. Ebay? There are many sites that offer photo identification of ancient China.

Normalization (Czechoslovakia)

Normalization (Czechoslovakia)

$71.7

High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles In the history of Czechoslovakia, normalization is a name commonly given to the period 1969 to about 1987. It was characterized by initial restoration of the conditions prevailing before the reform period led by Alexander Dub ek (1963/1967 1968), first of all, the firm rule of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia, and subsequent preservation of this new status quo. Normalization is sometimes used in a narrower sense to refer only to the period 1969 to 1971. The official ideology of normalization is sometimes called Husakism after the Czechoslovak leader Gustav Husak. When Gustav Husak became the leader of the KS instead of Alexander Dub ek in April 1969 after the military intervention of Warsaw Pact armies, his regime acted quickly to normalize the countrys political situation. The chief objectives of Husaks normalization were the restoration of firm party rule and the reestablishment of Czechoslovakias status as a committed member of the socialist bloc. Origins of Czechoslovakia

Origins of Czechoslovakia

$87.62

Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. The creation of Czechoslovakia in 1918 was the culmination of the long struggle of the Czechs against their Austrian rulers and of the Slovaks against Hungarisation and their Hungarian rulers. Although the Czechs, Moravians and Slovaks have similar languages, they have distinct cultures and experiences. The ancestors of the Czechs and Slovaks have been united in the socalled Samo Empire for some thirty years in the seventh century. The ancestors of the Slovaks and Moravians were later united in Great Moravia between 833 and 907. The Czechs were only part of Great Moravia for some seven years before splitting from it in 895. Furthermore, in the second half of the tenth century, the Czechs have conquered and controlled western Slovakia for around thirty years. History of Czechoslovakia (19451948)

History of Czechoslovakia (19451948)

$78.07

High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles During World War II, Czechoslovakia disappeared from the map of Europe. The reemergence of Czechoslovakia as a sovereign state was not only the result of the policies of the victorious Western allies, France, Britain, and the United States, but also an indication of the strength of the Czechoslovak ideal embodied in the First Czechoslovak Republic. However, at the conclusion of World War II, Czechoslovakia fell within the Soviet sphere of influence, and this circumstance dominated any plans or strategies for postwar reconstruction. Consequently, the political and economic organization of Czechoslovakia became largely a matter of negotiations between Edvard Bene and Communist Party of Czechoslovakia exiles living in Moscow. Youth Organizations in Communist Czechoslovakia

Youth Organizations in Communist Czechoslovakia

$58.94

High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles Youth organizations have always played an important role in political regimes. After the 1948 takeover of power, the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia ( KS ) formed two Sovietstyle youth organizations: the Pionyr (Pioneers, for youngsters eight to fifteen years old) and the Czechoslovak Union of Youth ( SM, ages fifteen to twentyfive). Both organizations were geared toward grooming their members (or a fortunate fraction of them) for KS membership. By the late 1960s, some 70 of all those eligible were members of the Pionyr; the reform movement revealed, however, a number of points of dissatisfaction. Czechoslovak adherence to the Soviet model extended to uniform dress (white shirts and red kerchiefs) and salutes, neither of which was popular among Czechs and Slovaks. In addition, the Pioneer leadership was often less than devoted. In 1968, when the organization became voluntary, the number of leaders dropped precipitously; the resulting shortage persisted through the 1980s. Its history dates back to at least the Spring and Autumn Period when it was located at the border of the State of Yue and Wu. Xitang is a water town crisscrossed by nine rivers. The town stretches across eight sections, linked by oldfashioned stone bridges. In the older parts of town, the buildings are set along the banks of the canals, which serve as the main transportation thoroughfares in the area. Xitang also contains numerous antique residences and temples, such as the Temple of the Seven Masters. Ukrainians in Czechoslovakia (19181938)

Ukrainians in Czechoslovakia (19181938)

$78.07

Subcarpathian Ruthenia (later briefly independent as CarpathoUkraine) had been Czechoslovakias poorest region, and, if Slovakia had fared badly under Hungarian domination within AustriaHungary, CarpathoUkraines situation had been far worse. In the words of one historian, in 1914 the region was little more than a Magyar deer park. Its people were wretchedly poor, having for centuries supplemented the meagre living the mountainous area afforded with seasonal agricultural labor and service in the Hungarian infantry. Because of its strong cultural and linguistic links with the Ukrainians, Lemkos and Boykos of the Soviet Union and interwar Poland, the region was a hotbed of secessionist sentiment throughout the interwar period (see below). There were also calls for Ukrainian autonomy within the Czechoslovak Republic, and the LemkoRusyn Republic, on the northern side of the Carpathians, attempted to unite with this faction.
