Does anyone know how is an old iron door lock in place?

I have an old door lock with the locking finger does not work. He goes to a bedroom door. I took it apart to clean, (it was covered with paint dry) then tried to reassemble. However, I can not understand how the three sources agree with the correct key to work properly. Does anyone know where to go these sources in the lock or if you know a site that shows diagrams?

It's always good to take pictures disasble you if you can. usually cheap webcam. It is difficult without pictures may be a locksmith or someone to help deliver cheaper
