How I can go to find an appraiser for what I believe may be antique jewelry?

51 years and I have just found the jewelry box of Grandma me. Some pieces were carved date of late 1890. I live in Michigan. Any specific suggestions would be appreciated.

The best thing to do would be to find a jeweler who has experience dealing with real jewelry. To be honest, just because a piece of jewelry is an antique does not mean that its value worth $ More than another gem with the same weight in gold and jewelry quality. Do not be surprised if they seem to underestimate their jewelry.
