Help! I can’t get poop stains out of the cracks? SERIOUS answers?

Im staying at my grandmas house and i woke up one morning and had major runs. i couldnt make it to the bathroom right when i woke up it almost flooded out. i had to use the trash can. this is an antique trash can passed down far… it has some cracks in it and the runs seemed to have stuck in the cracks and stain it. i tried to wash it out and with clorox and 409 and orange toilet bowl cleaner in the bathtub but it wont come off. how do i fix this??? i have to fix it before i leave… it is stinking really bad i think it absorbed the smell

Well, you don’t mention what material the trash can is made out of, so best advice I can give you is, squirt some dishwashing soap in the can, fill with warm water, and let it sit overnight. In the morning, when you empty the can, most of the crap should have loosened from the cracks, and should come out just with rinsing. If they don’t, use baking soda and a wet toothbrush on the cracks, then rinse again. This should work.

Remember, it’s extremely important to let this soak overnight to loosen the stuff out of the cracks. Hopefully you have that much time.
