Getting started selling on eBay?

I would like to make some extra money and thought eBay would be my way to go. I love antiques and collectors' items. There are charitable local shops selling antiques here, the collection and quality of clothing second hand prices cheaper than you could buying on ebay. So my thought is to buy in the charity shop (which is good karma points) and then resell the item on eBay. I realize I have to look are: 1. too much influence – Make sure you can sell the item to a gain of 2. takes account of eBay and PayPal fees 3. Buy things that are very popular and I know going to sell anyone any advice for me before I start? I'm very early in my research, if a book of recommendations would be appreciated. Is it useful make an additional bank account for transactions on eBay? What kind of questions do not recommend that you buy / sell? I know a lot of questions and an important topic but any help is appreciated.

You must have good photos, if you do not get a digital camera and start practicing. Read all the support pages and newsgroups, Ebay Search, where people seeking help on various topics. The problem with things that are popular is that many of them! So there's lots of competition. I suggest things unbreakable, because you have to send. Costume jewelry, coins, books. If you sell electronic products people always complain that it does not work or something. Good luck.
