what should I do with this money?
My baby boy has been given 250 euros as a present when he was born. I know its not a great amount but was thinking of investing it someway or buying something that will go up in value that he will appreciate when he is older e.g a dinky toy,wine, antiques ,or investing it in shares or something like that.What do you think open to all ideas. Thanks in advance
You could buy him a tiny gold ingot and engrave it with a message from the person who gave you the money.
I think they’re quite fun things to have and gold could go up in value a lot over the next 18 years. You could maybe do better in the stock market, but I think ISAs and savings accounts aren’t as much fun as a real piece of gold. Plus I’m not sure how easy it is to open an ISA with just 250 euros.
