I want to hold an antique fan instead of flowers for the ceremony?

I found this gorgeous antique fan that looks great with my wedding dress… I was thinking of holding this instead of a bouquet. My bridesmaids would still have bouquets. Is this tacky or unique? It looks similar to this one: http://www.mansiongallery.net/P3170023.JPG except less shiny.

My first thought before I even read more of your question I nodded my head NO. But, as I read more details and saw the picture I absolutely changed my mind! It’s beautiful and it’s different. In all honesty, most guests don’t recall much of the ceremony, if the bride has her hair up, or down, if she is wearing a strapless, or sleeved gown, let alone the flowers. IMO, I think guests WOULD remember the stunning bride carrying an antique fan. I know would because it’s something I have never seen before!
